iPod Classic Head phone jack replacement

The headphone jack on my Sons iPod classic was only working on one side of the balance

The repair went pretty smooth, except, trying to open the iPod with the plastic opening tools is impossible.... 3 of them broke trying to pry the case open.... I found the metal spudger a lot better tool to open the ipod.

Mein Rat

I would advise that you make a metal version of the opening tools I also advise to use the spudger....it worked very well for me!
