Mein Problem

Was sluggish with some games and apps I have loaded. When I tried clocking it up to 33 MHz, it was plenty fast, but the CPU got hot, and it would flash emergency shutdown after about 10 minutes. Also, the system doesn't have access to ALL RAM that is actually installed. Had to change that. Needed a few features too.

Meine Reparatur

Smooth, for the most part. Hardest part was getting the heat spreader patch to stay. I put a heat spreader on the CPU, and using a softwood, gave the system access to all the RAM. (The system has 128KB of RAM, but the OS only had access to 24KB. BIG improvement!) I also now have an accurate battery monitor on the device, that gives me voltage, current, and an estimated percentage left. I also enabled file compression on it, and with the better CPU, it compresses and decompresses notes, motion images, apps, etc. pretty fast. I also enabled a softwood that gives me access to all 2MB of the Flash ROM instead of 1.5MB.
