Restoring my wife's iPhone 5.

Mein Problem

My wife's iPhone 5 battery was discharging in mere minutes. She was constantly looking for her charger and plugging in. Often, she'd be on the road and unreachable because her phone was dead. But she resisted replacing the phone because of the cost of a new one.

Meine Reparatur

The toughest part was opening the case. Everything was pretty straight forward after that. Only real surprises were when I found certain parts were missing from the phone...the plate covering the ribbon connectors from the screen to the motherboard, a couple of screws, etc. No idea why they were missing, and unfortunately I have no replacements for them.

Mein Rat

Use a magnifier headset, to aid in seeing the small parts without needing to hold anything in yuour hands.
