iPhone dock and battery replacement

Damaged dock, slow phone.

The repair went beautifully. Could have used stereo magnifiers, though. Did a cold reboot, then discharged to 10% followed by a non-stop charge to 100%. Had a fast phone again with long battery life.

After about a week, it wouldn’t take a charge unless the battery was down to 20%. If I interrupted charging par5 way, say 70%, it won’t resume charging. Did the battery or dock go bad?

Magnifiers, quality bright lighting, good work surface, and patience. A steady hand is a must.
