Genius Bar out of Juice

Mein Problem

My iPhone 6 battery tanked. The $29 Apple settlement deal sounded great until I called the Genius Bar to find no openings to fix it for months! So, $24 and a few days later, I get the iFixIt repair kit. A few fat-finger moments, but done in an hour. Thanks!

Meine Reparatur

It went very well, thanks to your great video and instructional support. One issue was that Apple apparently changed out the tri-lobe screws on the bottom of the case already. But they were so small, I couldn't see them. I tried using the supplied tri-lobe driver to no avail. Then just used the small Phillips and done.

Mein Rat

Separate the screws for each location on the phone. Don't forget to put the screws back in before you close the cover. Maybe design little bowls into the fiber packing tray specifically to hold screws and parts as you work.
