iPad mini digitizer replacement!

Mein Problem

It’s my uncles iPad mini and it had a crack in it for years.

Meine Reparatur

It was very difficult getting that slightly shattered glass off. While I was removing it I shattered it even more but still wasn’t a problem cause I was replacing it. When it came down to the LCD I was to scared that I was doing to brake it with too much force trying to remove it. But I didn’t! The LCD is still working perfectly fine now. Other then saying “I don’t think I’m ever going to work on a iPad again!” while fixing it, I may repair another one cause it was very difficult.

Mein Rat

Not much. But while removing the LCD it perfectly normal to be very careful with it. Be very careful with all the parts your not replacing, now if your replacing the glass and LCD the you don’t need to be as careful with it.
