Ipod touch 4 gen digitiser cracked.
Meine Reparatur
When I had the tools and followed the guide it went fine. I had a bit of a time working with the small stuff so I had to buy a magnifier lamp, which made the whole process much easier the second time (I broke the first digitiser the first time). I ultamitly had to replace the the LCD panel as well. I did not attach the lcd to the digitiser and it worked fine. The lcd panel fits snuggly into the body cavity. Then the digitiser went on top fine.
Mein Rat
I do not think it is important to attach the LCD panel to the Digitiser for the ipod to function properly. It was difficult finding information that said it WAS possible. But oh yes yu0 definitly have to replace both if it was an original. Advice would be; get all your parts, buy the metal spudger set (better than razor), bright light and a magnify lamp makes the job a whole lot easier.
