Screen was shattered.

Meine Reparatur

Fairly easy repair. Easy removal with a heat gun. Hairdryer (from previous repairs) not so much. Home button was a bit of a pain to get lined up perfectly, (wish a white button came with this particular part - as I replaced a black screen with a white one based solely on available part when needed). But once I lined up the home button and ribbon cable on the casing frame rather than screen, the rest fell together easily.

Mein Rat

Slow and steady wins the race. If your comfortable with it going back together.......add some glue. OR put it in a Survivor/Otterbox type case to keep it together. OR use a LITTLE bit or weight, and a heat gun after assembly: heat up the glue strips already attached to the replacement part, then add the weight while it cools. The gun will heat up the glue just enough to get super sticky again.
