Battery Replacement on MacBookPro

Mein Problem

The trackpad on the Macbook stopped responding due to the batteries swelling underneath.

Meine Reparatur

The repair went smoothly except for the removal of the batteries themselves. The glue was extra strong and required +30 minutes to saw them out with a combination of the iFixit solution and the use of string as a "saw". It is a slow process but the batteries did eventually come out without a problem. There was also a lot of gluey residue that had to be removed before installing the new batteries. Removing this gluey substance took a while.

Just be patient with the process. The iFixit kit is terrific.
