Mein Problem

Front glass was shattered, got a replacement part and tools from iFixit.

Meine Reparatur

Removing the old glass was difficult because it was all shattered. I figure there is no easy way around this. Had some issues removing some of the tape holding the LCD panel and cracked it (see picture). I know this was my fault for not being careful enough. Now I need to evaluate if it is worth it to get the LCD repaired.

Mein Rat

The guide provided by iFixit could be clearer regarding just how fragile the LCD panel is. Also I would advise just cutting some of the tape holding some parts together rather than trying to peel it off, given how hard it is and the fact that the tape is mostly not reused.
