Mein Problem

I had 2 Macbook Pro 13" notebooks. They both stopped recognizing the hard drive within 3 days of each other. After reading some information on the iFixit website I ordered hard drive cables and that was a solution for both notebooks

Meine Reparatur

Very easy fix. Remove the bottom cover (10 screws). Remove the hard drive retainer, remove the drive and disconnect the cable. Remove 2 screws holding the infra sensor to the front of the case and the 2 screws holding the cable, disconnect from logic board. Install the new cable

Mein Rat

This cable fails without warning and appears to be a hard drive failure or motherboard failure at first. Try a cable before you invest in a motherboard
