New life for old MacBook Pro

Mein Problem

Warped bottom case due to battery expansion. Dangerous battery replaced. Cells were bloated so bad they were causing the laptop to not sit flat on the table any longer. Avoided a complete melt down and possible house fire. This could actually be classified as life saving! I had no idea the battery was that bad.

Meine Reparatur

Not a single problem. Battery arrived ahead of schedule with slight outside package damage, but nothing damaged inside. The instructions were precise and left nothing to guess at or interpret. If only all instructions could be this well written. Everything went exactly as described and the pictures were superb with parts labeled. If you've never worked on a laptop, be aware the parts/connectors are small and can be easily damaged if forced. Recommend using the tool kit. My laptop may be 8+ years old, but it is still fully functioning. Still using it with dual monitors for Fusion 360 CAD work.

Mein Rat

Used a medical syringe to precisely deliver the isopropyl alcohol exactly where needed and quantity needed. Also, I would suggest printing out the instructions and taping the removed parts on the respective pages to keep them all straight. Read the comments.
