Mein Problem

My son's ipod went through the washing machine in the pocket of his jeans. It powered up fine, but the screen was cracked and the bottom half of the touch screen was unresponsive.

Meine Reparatur

Repair worked great. It now works, and I have one happy 14 year old. The repair guide you provided was easy to follow, especially for me as I am not particularly technical.

Mein Rat

When replacing the screen, buy one with the frame and home button assembly attached. Both those components are too fragile to try and remove to install on a new screen. I tried, and broke both; then had to wait another week for a new screen with those components attached.
