Iʻve been using CMS Bounce Back to make bootable backups so instead of using SuperDuper as recommended in the video I used Bounce Back. I tested it by booting from the external back up drive but it didnʻt work when the drive was installed in the MacBook Pro. So I went to the SuperDuper site to buy the software, and saw that they had a free version that will do the required backup without the bells and whistles options. That worked without a hitch.
