Ifixit.com to the rescue

Mein Problem

My wife's iPhone 4 (at&t) battery just stopped charging out of the blue. After looking up the problem, we realized she was going to need a new battery. The main worry was that because she doesn't backup up her phone often, she would lose all her data if we had Apple change it for us. This was particularly upsetting because she had many pics and vids of our newborn son she would lose. A friend referred me to ifixit.com and they supplied me with all the necessary tools and the battery I needed. The only problem was that I had to pay for overnight shipping due to her needing her phone, but other than that everything was perfect.

Meine Reparatur

The battery and tools were at my door the next day, the order and repair was made super easy thanks to the tutorial video in the awesome iPad app.

Mein Rat

I fixed my wife's phone, in super fast time and despite having to pay for overnight shipping still paid less than I would have at Apple. Thanks ifixit.com, I look foward to using your Xbox 360 RROD fix kit!!!! So sorry I didn't take pics, I know for next time :)
