Mein Problem
Spilled a 1/2 pint of water on the keyboard. Keyboard kept all the water out except for the tiny amount that got through the vent. A tiny drop shorted the capacitor on the wireless portion of the card, bluetooth still worked. You can tell where the short happened due to the white oxidized looking portion of the board.
Meine Reparatur
Repair was easy. Undo a few screws and swap out the card.
Mein Rat
Back up your data often. Quite scary when this stuff happens and it's your only copy.
