Mein Problem

i had already bought a new ps3 slim after i got the YLOD. but i did some research and decided to try this out in order to save my hard drive (and the countless hours i have in on skyrim). well it worked, i'm doing the data transfer utility right now.

Meine Reparatur

the kit definitly comes with all the tools required to dismantle the playstation. and i'm good at tearing things apart. it was when i broke out the heat gun i started losing confidence in myself, but i did what the guide said, and without any clues that it worked (or did anything) i put it back together and it powered on. made my night! had the final fantasy victory fanfare music playing in my head as it came on too!

Mein Rat

takes alot longer than the guide claims, keep up with where your screws go back into! i ended up having two screws leftover after putting it back together, but that's ok for me, because i'm moving on to a new ps3. the ribbon cables were a bit confusing, having no experience with this kind of stuff what-so-ever. it worked for me, i wish you the same luck!
