I accidentally spilled liquid on computer

Perfectly. Replaced the i/o board and cable. I broke a connector off of the board, but luckily it was on the broken board, not the new one.

Mein Rat

Before replacing the board I poured 100% isopropanol into the computer to try and dry it out. I don't know if this helped, but it didn't appear to hurt anything.
