My Macbook looks like New!!!!

Mein Problem

The glass display on my macbook pro cracked. I have no idea how my screen cracked but I was definitely not paying Apple for their over priced services. I'm pretty good with my hands so I decided to fix it myself.

Meine Reparatur

It took me and my girlfriend about two whole hours to fix my screen. We used a house hold hair dryer along with the Heavy-duty suction cups I purchased with the display replacement. I broke the screen even more while trying to remove it. My girlfriend and I actually had to take the glass off piece by piece at the end. After the long grueling two hours we finally managed to get the screen off. It took no time to put the new screen on. I was so relieved when we got it. Didn't break anything important, and now it looks like new!

Mein Rat

Have someone to help you if your screen is cracked. It helps to have someone hold the computer while you take your old screen off. Also try very hard NOT to break the glass while you're removing the glass. It's real glass!
