Water vs MacBook Pro

My husband thought it was fine to leave his MacBook Pro on and open sitting directly under a side table where he left a full glass of water...and an unsupervised toddler.

Meine Reparatur

I took the MacBook apart to let it dry. It kept Safe Booting and typed in all caps. I got around the Safe Boot by holding down the Command key on startup, used a USB keyboard to install a key remapping app. Disabled the left Shift key that was causing the all caps issue. So, it's really not "fixed", just rigged. But he only uses his MacBook Pro as an online poker machine anyway, so he can deal with his rigged computer until he wins a pot big enough to buy a new one!
