Microphone and battery problems

Mein Problem

My microphone always made a loud squeaking sound when i made calls. This was a serious problem when I made calls from my student dorm room, since I always had to use speakerphone.

Also, the battery had seen its best days after 2 years of use.

I live in Norway and all the parts her from private firms are really expensive, this is why i ordered from iFixit. I got the parts one week after i placed my order, which was very impressive.

Meine Reparatur

The repair was surprisingly easy. I had dismantled the phone and put it back together in around 20 minutes.

Now the microphone works and the battery lasts for three to four days.

Mein Rat

I would appreciate if you could tell the users on your guide to remove the protective plastic film over the microphone before installing it. I was concerned about ruining the item when removing it.
