Mein Problem
I had a problem with my iphone 4S connecting to my computer, and intermittently would not charge with independent wall charger. Went to Apple store 3 times where they basically said it would be cheaper to get a new phone.
WRONG!!!!
Came home, went online, and found the ifixit website, bought the replacement dock connector, opening tools, and liberation kit (you get the screw drivers too!)
Meine Reparatur
Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical this would work, but I thought $50 was better than $200. The Repair went awesome! Did exactly as your 23 pt instructions told me to do and went perfectly. 1 week later and my phone is good as new interfacing with everything. Repair took about 1 hour. I am in a bit of shock still! IT was a BREEZE!
Mein Rat
Lay out your work station, magnifying glasses would have helped my 43 yr old eyes! Take your time, read through the instructions thoroughly BEFORE you start. The philips screw driver that came in the liberation kit worked on all the internal screws! Highly recommend the liberation kit!
