The amazing thing happend: i fixed it!

Mein Problem

I couldn't use my MacBook anymore because my monitor went black when i opened my screen for more than 10%. At first wiggling the screen would sometimes help, but one bad day even that didn't help anymore. Taking my Mac to a repairshop would be way to expensive for this older laptop. So i searched the net and found the cause of the defect (and the solution!) on this website. Praise and hallelujah!

Meine Reparatur

The stuff i ordered reached my front door (in the Netherlands) in a week. The actual repairing took me 4 hours. Things went smoothly thanks to the big photos. I used sheets of paper to tape the little screws on and scribbled the according step next to them. That's really helpful when you reassemble the Macbook.

Mein Rat

Use a serialnumber search on the net to see wich Macbook-version you have, so you can tell wich inverter cable you will find when you reach step 47 in the guide.
