Mein Problem
My wife dropped her brand new Iphone 4S into a cup of tea and the mic ceased to work anymore. She took it to the apple store and was quoted ~$200 to repair?!? I found the dock connector and replacement guide on ifixit. I had the tools in my shop and the new dock connector was $39. BAM! phone is fixed lilke new and I saved $160. No thanks to the apple store. Thanks ifixit!

The repair guide was simple and intuitive. It included all the information necessary for the repair. It was a huge help.
