Mein Problem
My wife dropped her phone and cracked the screen. When replacing it I asked her what color she really wanted, and she said "white". Now she has a black back, black button, and white front.
Meine Reparatur
I botched my first attempt - be careful with the display cables, they are fragile. iFixit made a Saturday delivery to get the second one (my expense since my fault).
The guide is very good for the repairs. It is not hard if you are patient and have good lighting.
The repaired phone looks fantastic with a matching black and white case. Looks slick and deliberate.
Mein Rat
As you remove parts, place them on a cloth in the order removed (the cloth shields the very small screws from bouncing around if you jiggle your work table). Have good lighting, and be very careful when threading the cables on the new screen back through the frame.
