Airport card replacement fixes iTunes errors

Mein Problem

The Airport card died. The computer gave me the message that there was no wireless card installed. However, Bluetooth was still working. This also, for some reason, was giving me an error when trying to sign in to iTunes and the Mac App Store. My computer was also no longer authorized for either and it was trying to delete my purchased content.

Meine Reparatur

Very smooth repair. Followed instructions, everything went fine. Very simple.

Mein Rat

Interestingly, after getting the new card in I was able to sign into both stores and reauthorize the computer without any more errors. I have no idea what the connection is between that card and the authorization and sign-in process.
