One of the easiest fixes i have ever done!

Mein Problem

PS3 got way to hot minutes after i would turn it on. I knew it was just days until i would get the YLOD. I was hoping it would make it through the release of the PS4 so i can just toss this one but it didnt. Glad i found iFixits repair guide.

Meine Reparatur

The ps3 (fat) model used in the guide was a bit different than mine, but common sense kicked in and i was able to disassemble and assemble it back up on my own. Super easy repair. Seriously, all you need to know is how to unscrew bolts and screws. Everything else is a sinch. Its just very time consuming.

Mein Rat

Take your time. I took my time to write down where all the bolts belonged. All i did was grabbed a big sheet of foam (you can use paper) and all you do is group the bolts in a little bunch, draw a circle around them and a little annotation on the side telling you what theyre for.

In the end, when that little green light stays on, you get a sudden good feel of accomplishment. well worth it. :)
