MacBook Pro 17" hard drive replacement

Mein Problem

The original 100 GB hard drive started malfunctioning intermittently. Its as if the readings were getting stuck and producing a repetitive clicking sound. Thankfully, I got through a session of Time Machine before the whole thing failed.

Meine Reparatur

Its easy. Instructions are excellent although I found I used a philips #000 instead of a philips #00 as described on the web site.

Mein Rat

Go for it. My MacBook Pro is purring with snow leopard.
