Mein Problem
My teenage son knocked the monitor over onto the floor and shattered the glass panel. I didn't witness the altercation so I can't say exactly what he was doing at the time, was just thankful only the glass panel was broken! Maybe I just don't want to know what he was doing at the time of the breakage....Hmmmm..... ^^
Meine Reparatur
The repair was quick and easy, due to the fact my son had already removed the broken panel, so there was no need to purchase the recommended suction cups. Took me longer to get the glass out of the box than it did to put it on to the monitor. Easiest repair I've ever had to do, and I have had to do quite a few.

Don't let your teenage son borrow your iMac in the first place and buy your repair parts from ifixit.
