Mein Problem

My son's iTouch's battery was only lasting for about 25 min. - very annoying. After reading the repair manual, I decided to give it a try.

Meine Reparatur

The repair went just like the manual suggested. I really appreciated the warnings offered in the manual as well as other people that made suggestions of caution. I can't believe how much glue is used to hold the 4th generation iTouch together. That was pretty annoying, especially trying to get the battery out. Does it really need to be glued that secure? Wow!

Mein Rat

I scratched the black paint on the underside of the display glass somehow with the plastic opening tool. It doesn't show too bad, but that is the only problem I had with the repair. One other suggestion is to flatten the glue down with a tool and then use a heat gun to warm it when putting the display glass back on.
