My controller's left joystick was acting wonky--forward wasn't always registering, which makes platforming challenging. So, I took it apart to see if I could see an easy fix. I didn't, but I still took pictures.

Unscrew the 6 screws from the back of the controller

Remove the back panel. It is not attached by anything.

Behold the innards of the controller.

Remove two more screws to disconnect the top green board from the bottom green board.

Notice the top and bottom boards are still connected by a soldered cable.

Notice the joysticks look kinda soldered on, too.

Realize you're not going to repair your finicky left joystick today.

Reverse all previous steps and screw it back together.
