I would like to recommend not to disconnect the signal cables unless it is absolutely necessary . The screen can be replaced whithout disconnecting them. I learned it the hard way ,once two connector broke ,one on the mainboard and another on the cable, I had to remove them and solder the cable directly to the mainboard
