Recht auf Reparatur

Hello! My name is Elise and I currently in my second year at Linn Benton Community College.

I am a psychology major because I find it very interesting and fascinating. I also want to have a career that not only interests me, but where I can also help people. I am still not completely sure on what my future career looks like, but I am planning on becoming a high school guidance counselor to help teens. I would say that my goal is to have a career I enjoy while also improving people’s lives, even if its in small ways.

I haven’t done much repairing in my life other than fixing a few broken things around my house, such as lights, a desk, and some jewelry. But, I am totally open to learning how to repair more!

I recently have picked up a few new hobbies. I have gotten very into cooking which I haven’t done much in the past but I have found that I really enjoy it. In the past month I also began creating diamond paintings, also known as diamond dotz, which takes lots of patience and can be very tedious but turns out great.

I think that this project will help benefit me professionally by learning how to properly address and write about things while also working with a team. But I also think it will help me personally by learning how to fix and repair things while also learning why it is important to repair and reuse items.

Something fun about me is that I am a huge animal lover. Not only do I have a lot of pets, but I also find almost every animal adorable in their own way. My favorite animals are cats, but I also love other animals ranging from dogs and squirrels to mice and snakes.
