Mehr erfahrenWell... I found some but the prices vary wildly. Here is a link to some on ebay. Good luck on those. As fas as what's actually causing the problem it sounds like it could be a faulty power supply. Is it possible that something is drawing too much power from the unit and causing it to trip? Wish I had a real answer for you, good luck.
Mehr erfahrenCouple of things: First, I read your previous question and I'm not convinced it is an antenna fault. However, to answer your question the antenna looks like this and costs about $2.00. Second, I believe, if it is a hardware issue, that it may be the SIM card reader itself. If that is the case you may need a new logic board. Third, the little "x" in the signal area usually means that it is still actively searching for a signal, but is not in range of one. So it is possible that since you were changing settings for unlocking the phone that it is searching for a signal that is is out of range of. If this is the case it means your hardware is all perfectly fine and you have a software (settings) issue.
Mehr erfahrenMy advice is to open the phone back up and double check that the track pad connection is seated properly. There is only one ribbon cable that connects to the logic board, so this should be easy. Once you have double checked the connection, re-assemble, and test it. If it still does not work, then odds are you have a faulty trackpad. After a quick search for parts it looks like you can get a replacement trackpad for under $5.00. Hope this helps, keep us updated! In case you were not using it, here is the handy ifixit Guide. Make sure to check step 10!

Mehr erfahrenHello Chrissie, Have you tried wiping the phone and reloading it? I know that's a basic step but I figured I'd ask anyway. Don't worry, an unlocked phone will stay unlocked even if you wipe it. If that does not work, try this: In the SIM card security menu select OPTIONS > ADVANCED OPTIONS > SIM CARD > Then type "MEPD" (No quotes). Make sure you are holding down the "Shift" key to make them caps. DO NOT use "Caps lock" as this will not work. You should see some lines that will indicate the status for each line. It should say something like "Active or Disabled". If the "Network" line says "Active" or "Enabled" then the phone is locked and you will have to unlock it again. If it says "Inactive" or "Disabled" then the phone is unlocked and we are back to square one. Let us know what you find out! Update: @Kayleigh I did some more research and I don't have any great soultion for you. If you have the unlock code that was provided you can type "MEP2" from the same screen that says "Disabled" and it will ask you...
Mehr erfahrenIt really depends on how stripped the screws are. If they still have some of their former shape, then you coud try using a larger version of the driver the screw needs.
Mehr erfahrenHello there Omoluabi! I know your question is a few months old, but I thought I'd drop in and offer some insight. The cheapest way to find a replacement board is probably going to be purchasing an identical model from ebay that is damaged. I found the following BBZ10 that has a defective screen, and that's all (So he says). It's cheap as dirt and a WHOLE lot cheapter than a replacement phone. Busted Z10 on Ebay Best wishes!
