I am currently majoring in Visual Communication Design, and aside from learning design I am learning technical communication. I have been at EWU since fall of 2017, so this is my third quarter here. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2019. I have good design skills, writing skills, as well as good discipline that will help keep my team on track. As for experience I have helped my dad repair and build pieces of furniture and fix my car. Also I have had experience fixing minor inconveniences for my iPhone. This will benefit my team because I will have some knowledge about these devices and the basics of them, also I have no problem finding the answers to questions I don't know.
We have a chance to guarantee our right to repair electronic
equipment—like smartphones, computers, and even farm equipment. This is a once-in-a-generation
chance to protect local repair jobs—the corner mom-and-pop repair shops that
keep getting squeezed out by manufacturers.
Join the cause and tell your state representative to support Right to Repair. Tell them you believe repair should be fair, affordable, and accessible. Stand up for your right to repair!
