Thank you for your answer, I’ve transferred the old parts to new screen but Face ID still not working, I think during last screen repair, cable was damaged. Yes it does require to take the flex cable from battery and solenoid to new one, then reprograming. I think I’ll just revert everything as it was and sell it on eBay to have the money back and will just buy used XS/XS Max in good condition
So after further investigation, turns out the Home Button is 100% fine and functional. Look like the problem is the connector on motherboard, as when I fitted another Genuine Apple Screen HB still didn’t work, and that screen was 100% functional as well as it was removed from fully working iPhone for test purposes, BUT after fitting aftermarket Screen HB/Touch ID worked and still working perfectly.
As it goes I’ve got a old spare screen and put everything as it’s should be, turn the phone on and no luck it’s still the same (I’ve put the proper HB, not the spare one) and still got info Unable to activate TouchID and no haptic feedback. What I’ve done as well is put YF Home Button that I’ve bought few days ago (https://www.replacebase.co.uk/for-apple-iphone-7-8-7-8-plus-jc-home-button-restore-mod-cable-flex-kit-gold-1) and still the same result no haptic feedback. But when you mentioned about JC HB, think I should buy this one and try it (https://www.replacebase.co.uk/for-apple-iphone-7-8-7-8-plus-jc-home-restoration-button-no-bluetooth-rose-gold-1) now the question as well what’s the difference between them YF and JC Home Buttons? Personally think there is something wrong with the home button connector on the logic board. But when I had a look there is no damage to it, and was very carefully to remove logic board from the frame. Is something that can be fixed, just fit a new connector?
