My iPad 2 after a drop the screen is black, there's no backlight or image even with a flashlight. But it does sync and make sounds. I just though the LCD or the cable was dead, but I actually tested the LCD on another iPad and it is working just fine. Tried hitting it a few times like others but no luck. Does anyone knows if one component needs to be reflowed or replaced? a display driver or something, since the iPad CPU is ok. I think I will try to heat the iPad logic board or put it on the freezer.
Use Double Sided Tape it will work just fine. Put it between the antenna and the white plastic, not between the antenna and the front panel. Use the transparent tape. ----: Do not use the black thick tape, or you will be not able to close the front panel.
I opened 2 iPhones, one is a 3G and other is a 3GS, both doesn't have the lock, just a slot without any lock, the ribbon cable detach easily, and both is working fine. I can open it again and take a picture.
Don't try to unlock the cable 3 THERE'S NO LOCK on the cable 3 on my iPhone 3GS, just slide the cable upside. Almost broke mine, don't try to "unlock", there's no lock actually!
Mine is:
2 bands = CH0
1 bands = CH1
0 bands = CH2
Model: AR5BXB112
