Doesn't Clean Correctly
The vacuum is not properly picking up debris off the ground.
Clogged Rollers:
- If your Wyze robot vacuum is not cleaning correctly, it could be due to the rollers being clogged with dust and hair. Turn the vacuum off and flip it upside down.
- Once the device has been flipped upside down, pinch the 2 blue locks and pull toward you to uncover the roller
- Remove the roller and either replace it or remove the dust and hair
Won’t Turn On
The vacuum will not respond when the user tries powering it up.
Faulty Battery:
- The battery may not be holding a charge, or may not be charging correctly. Start off by checking the connection from the batter to the port. If the port is plugged in correctly and the batter still doesn’t charge, a replacement battery is needed.
Parts Not Moving Properly
Some part of the physical vacuum is not working as expected.
Damaged Bumpers:
- If you apply pressure to the bumpers and they do not move, then there is something wrong with the bumper. It is possible there may be a crack in the bumper or something may be lodged in the bumper. Check the bumper for any signs of physical damage or any debris that may have been causing the bumper to get stuck. The bumper may need to be removed and cleaned, or replaced.
Wheels are Clogged With Debris:
- You can check the wheels for debris or damage by lifting up the vacuum and turning it over. If the wheels on your vacuum are not functioning properly, such as the vacuum not moving correctly or at all, it is possible that the wheels may become clogged or damaged, and you may need to remove or replace the wheels.
Movement is Erratic
The vacuum is displaying an error message regarding one of the sensors.
LIDAR sensor error:
It is possible to receive an error message stating that the vacuum sensor is not functioning properly. The LIDAR sensor or a different sensor may be blocked on the vacuum. If all external packaging and tapes have been removed, and you've the cleaned the vacuum so nothing is blocking the sensor, you may need to do do a factory reset. To do a factory reset:
- Press and hold the home button for 5 seconds. You will hear a voice prompt stating “Factory reset will begin”.
- Release and then press and hold the home button again for 5 seconds.
- When you hear “Factory reset was successful”, it means that the reset is complete.
Faulty LIDAR sensor:
The sensor will need to be replaced.
