Lift the screen slightly

  • Pull up on the suction cup with firm, constant pressure to create a slight gap between the screen and the metal frame.

  • A plastic bezel is secured to the underside of the display, and needs to lift up with the display. Inserting a pick between the bezel and the display will damage the panel.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap under the screen's plastic bezel.

  • Make sure the opening pick is placed under the plastic bezel (against the frame) to avoid damaging your screen.

  • The watertight adhesive holding the screen in place is very strong; creating this initial gap takes a significant amount of force. If you're having a hard time opening a gap, apply more heat, and gently rock the screen up and down to weaken the adhesive until you create enough of a gap to insert your tool.

Display leicht anheben

Ziehe den Saugheber fest und gleichmäßig nach oben, so dass ein kleiner Spalt zwischen dem Display und dem Rahmen entsteht.

Setze ein Plektrum in den Spalt unter der Kunstoffblende am Display ein.

Achte darauf, dass das Plektrum genau zwischen der Kunststoffblende und dem Rahmen sitzt, damit das Display nicht beschädigt wird.

Das Display ist stark mit wasserfestem Kleber befestigt. Um den Spalt zu erzeugen, muss ziemlich viel Kraft aufgebracht werden. Wenn dies zu schwer geht, dann erwärme es nochmals und ruckle die Scheibe vorsichtig auf und ab, bis der Kleber schwächer wird und ein genügend großer Spalt für das Plektrum entsteht.
