Remove the two large EMI shields

  • Insert one point of a pair of pointed tweezers into a gap in the corner of the left-most of the remaining large EMI shields.

  • Use the tweezers to pry the EMI shield away from the motherboard as much as you can without bending it.

  • Repeat this procedure at different points around the shield until it is free. Remove the shield.

  • Try not to deform the shield too much—you will need to reinstall it during reassembly.

  • Take care not to puncture the battery with the tweezers while working on this shield.

Verwijder de twee grote EMI-schilden

Steek een punt van je pincet in de opening in de hoek van de linkse van de twee grootste EMI-schilden.

Gebruik je pincet om het EMI-schild zo ver mogelijk van het moederbord weg te duwen zonder het schild te verbuigen.

Herhaal deze stap op verschillende plekken rondom het EMI-schild tot het schild in z'n geheel is losgekomen en je deze kunt verwijderen.

Probeer te voorkomen dat je het schild te veel vervormt—je zult deze namelijk op dezelfde plek terug moeten plaatsen.

Wees voorzichtig en zorg dat je de batterij, bij het verwijderen van het schild, niet doorboort met je pincet.
