Insert an opening pick

  • If your screen is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction cup. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the broken display.

  • Apply a suction handle to the right edge of the display, about 5 cm from the bottom edge.

  • Pull up on the suction handle with firm, constant pressure to create a gap just small enough to insert an opening pick.

  • Only create a gap small enough to insert an opening pick. Overbending the screen will damage it.

  • Insert the tip of an opening pick into the gap.

  • Don't insert the opening pick more than 5 mm or you'll damage the LCD.

Ein Plektrum einsetzen

Wenn das Display stark gesplittert ist, haftet der Saugheber vielleicht besser, wenn du das Display mit durchsichtigem Klebeband überklebst. Du kannst auch statt eines Saughebers besonders kräftiges Klebeband verwenden. Wenn das alles nicht hilft, dann klebe den Saugheber mit Sekundenkleber am Display fest.

Befestige einen Saugheber am rechten Displayrand, ungefähr 5 cm vom unteren Rand entfernt.

Ziehe das Display fest und gleichmäßig nach oben, bis ein genügend breiter Spalt entstanden ist, um ein Plektrum einzusetzen.

Der Spalt darf wirklich nur so breit sein, dass das Plektrum gerade so passt. Wenn das Display zu stark gebogen wird, bricht es.

Setze ein Plektrum mit der Spitze in den Spalt ein.

Schiebe das Plektrum nicht tiefer als 5 mm hinein, das LCD könnte sonst beschädigt werden.
