How to Clone an Existing Drive: Schritt 0, Bild 1 von 1

  • At this point, your new hard drive should be a clone of your existing drive and ready to install.

  • However, we recommend testing the cloned drive before physically swapping the drives. This can be done by attempting to boot from the new cloned drive through the USB enclosure.

  • Keep the enclosure connected to the computer and restart the computer. Hold down the "option" key as it reboots until a boot option menu shows up.

Nun sollte das neue Laufwerk ein Klon des alten Laufwerks und bereit zum Einbau sein.

Wir empfehlen trotzdem erst das geklonte Laufwerk zu testen, wbevor du die Laufwerke endgültig tauschst. Du kannst versuchen, vom neuen Laufwerk über den USB Anschluss zu booten.

Lasse das Festplattengehäuse mit dem Computer verbunden und führe einen Neustart durch. Halte die Option Taste beim Neustart gedrückt, bis das Bootmenü erscheint.
