Unfasten the lower case

  • Before proceeding, unplug and power down your MacBook. Close the display and flip it upside-down.

  • Remove the following eight screws securing the lower case:

  • Two 1.8 mm P5 Pentalobe screws

  • Four 2.9 mm P5 Pentalobe screws

  • Two 6.1 mm P5 Pentalobe screws

  • Note the orientation of the screws as you remove them—they need to be reinstalled at a slight angle.

  • Throughout this repair, keep track of each screw and make sure it goes back exactly where it came from to avoid damaging your device.

Suelta la carcasa inferior

Antes de continuar, desconecta y apaga tu MacBook. Cierra la pantalla y ponlo boca abajo.

Quita los siguientes ocho tornillos que aseguran la carcasa inferior.

Dos tornillos Pentalobe P5 de 1.8 mm

Cuatro tornillos Pentalobe P5 de 2.9 mm

Dos tornillos Pentalobe P5 de 6.1 mm

Ten en cuenta la orientación de los tornillos al quitarlos, ya que será necesario recolocarlos con cierto ángulo.

Mientras completas la reparación, mantén todas las piezas categorizadas y asegúrate de que todo vuelve a colocarse exactamente en su lugar de partida, para evitar dañar el dispositivo.
