  • Using the JIS #1 screwdriver, loosen (without removing) the screw, holding the battery compartment door in place.

  • The screw in the battery compartment is not removable.

  • Lift the door off the battery compartment.

  • Remove and replace the batteries, properly discarding the used batteries.
