Through-hole soldering tips and tricks

  • If you're soldering a component with multiple through-hole leads (such as a joystick module, microcontroller, or port), solder two opposite leads to hold the component position in place. Check the alignment, then solder the remaining joints.

  • Alternatively, you can bend two opposite leads to secure the component to the board while you solder.

  • If the molten solder doesn't flow or is hard to manipulate, apply more flux to the joint.

Tipps und Tricks für die Durchsteckmontage

Wenn du ein Bauteil verlöten möchtest, das mehrere Kontakte hat – wie ein Joystick-Modul, einen Microcontroller oder einen Anschluss –, dann verlöte zunächst zwei gegenüberliegende Kontakte auf der Leiterplatte, um die Position des Bauteils zu fixieren. Überprüfe noch einmal den Sitz und verlöte dann die restlichen Kontakte.

Alternativ kannst du auch zwei gegenüberliegende Kontakte leicht umbiegen, um das Bauteil während des Lötens auf der Leiterplatte zu fixieren.

Wenn das geschmolzene Lötzinn nicht richtig fließt oder es sich nicht gut damit arbeiten lässt, füge noch etwas mehr Flussmittel zur Lötstelle hinzu.
