The speakerphone is used to talk hands-free on the phone. When this feature is not working, you may consider replacing it.

  3. When setting the back panel down, be careful to not rip any of the wires off of the internal components

  7. Use the soldering iron to reconnect the wires to the new speaker.

  8. Place new speaker back in place.

    • Make sure that all of the components are back in place.

  10. Secure the Back Panel with the same screws using the iFixit Protech Screwdriver kit J1 or PH1 bit.
