Einleitung
Diese Anleitung zeigt, wie du die Lautsprecher im Bose SoundLink Mini austauschen kannst. Die Lautsprecher können nach einiger Zeit schadhaft werden und müssen dann ersetzt werden. Folge genau der Anleitung und halte alle notwendigen Werkzeuge bereit.
Hinweis: In der Anleitung wird ein Metallspatel (bzw. -spudger) verwendet Ein Spudger aus Kunststoff ist vielleicht besser geeignet.

Löse die Batterieabdeckung aus Gummi ab und entferne die vier mit Kreisen bezeichneten 6 mm T8 Schrauben.

Halte die Abdeckung weg und ziehe den Akku senkrecht nach oben.
Where can I buy this battery
Well that part was simple. What I need is how to disconnect the ribbon cable which is soldered in on both ends. No help here.

On remark though: the original Bose battery has a thin foam gasket at the base. This foam gasket makes sure the room behind the speakers is airtight, which is essential for a clean sound. Most aftermarket batteries do not have this gasket, leading to a thumping noise when you turn up the music. This is easy to fix: with a sharp cutter, gently peel the gasket from the original battery and reinstall is on the new battery. That solved the problem for me. Alternatively, you can cut a think sheet of PE foam to fit the base of battery.
Cable is not soldered on BOSE SoundLink Mini!
The situation is different on BOSE SoundLink Mini II. The procedure to replace battery is more demanding as the cable is soldered.

Setze einen Spatel zwischen der Gummikante am Gitter und dem Aluminiumgehäuse ein.

Das Gitter ist mit doppelseitigen Klebeband am Lautsprecher befestigt. Um es zu entfernen musst du es vorsichtig nach oben und gleichzeitig nach rechts ziehen.

Entferne mit den gleichen Schritten das Rückseiten-Gitter.
Attention à la longueur des vis (les 4 vis du côté du circuit sont les 4 plus longue) et si vous vous trompez et plaçez ces 4 vis ailleurs vous risquez de les briser et que le bout de celles-ci demeurera dans la partie du chassis.

Entferne die vier 15 mm Torx T8-Schrauben auf der linken Seite und die vier 9,0 mm Torx T8-Schrauben auf der rechten Seite.

Schiebe die Platine mit dem Zeigefinger in die gezeigte Richtung und hebe sie gleichzeitig mit einem Nylon- oder Metallspudger zum Entfernen hoch.

Ziehe vorsichtig an der Akkuabdeckung, bis die Gummilasche aus dem Aluminiumgehäuse herauskommt.
I just want to emphasize that the rubber tab (that is part of the cover) is supposed to sit ON TOP of the circuit board. In my case, my son managed to pull of the battery cover off completely, so as I was taking it apart I didn’t see how the rubber tab was actually supposed to sit inside the box. Because these instructions have you unseat the circuit board, I thought it was implying the tab was supposed to sit under the circuit board. But that is NOT the case! If I had looked at the pictures 7 and 9 more carefully, I would have seen how things were supposed to sit. Instead I first jammed things back together with the rubber underneath the board (really hard to do), only to find that the slightly squeezed rubber tab pushed the cover out a millimeter so it wouldn’t sit right on the charger. On closer inspection, I figured things out.

Entferne das Stück Schaumstoff (hebe es für später auf) und klappe die schwarze Lasche rechtwinklig hoch, so dass sich der Stecker im Anschluss löst. Entferne das Flachbandkabel vom Anschluss.
there’s supposed to be a wire strips lock behind that small,gray foam,careful fellas don’t end it like me,i just simply pulling it off until it teared apart the board, also it broked,and until know i haven’t fix it yet

Achte beim Ausbau der Kunstoffplatte darauf, dass du nicht das durchgehende Flachbandkabel beschädigst.

Wackle an beiden Platinen und bewege sie nach oben, bis sie aus dem Gehäuse entfernt sind.

Löse die Lautsprecherkabel ab und entferne die Platinen ganz.

Fädle die Lautsprecherkabel aus den Halteklammern auf der Tastenplatinen heraus.

Hebe die Tastenplatine mit einem Nylon- oder Metallspatel ein wenig an.

Ziehe die Tastenplatine gerade aus dem Gehäuse heraus.

Welk type van speakers moet ik gebruiken? De huidige zijn niet meer te aanhoren door de rammelende basgeluiden. Waar kan ik nieuwe kopen of "witte producten" ? Bedankt al voor de info.

This is great! Well done! Thank you. I dropped mine and there's not any sound now. What would you think happened and where should i start?
Perhaps open it up and then use a multimeter or some other speakers to see if you're getting any output from the amplifier? Sometimes the speaker drivers are damaged by dropping.
Do you know the part number for the speaker or where to buy it ? After a trip to the beach I now have a cracking sound in one of the speakers.

Do you know if the the other speakers were passive radiators or powered subwoofers? Bose claims that the are subwoofers but I'm skeptical

Hi Brent and thank you for this easy fix.
Still I have a problem I did not have while the original battery was in place: the sound is now buzzing even at a middle-of-the-range volume.
I used the original screws and everything seems in place and the screws are tightened “right” I would say. I am usually fine fixing things. And I do not see what I could have done wrong…
Any suggestion?

What is not discussed is the wires that connect the battery to the speaker. In mine, I think I destroyed the speaker, because I pulled out the battery and dislodged the wires from the electronic board. I think they must have been soldered on, and now am having trouble attaching the new wires to the board.

I have lost the 4 battery screws. What size are they? I think they are metric but what is the length? They were Philips head flat as I remember.
