This guide will walk you through how to replace a faulty or non-functional throttle or brake lever on a Hover-1 Eagle scooter. You should replace your throttle or brake lever if your lever fails to accelerate or stop the scooter or appears damaged. Push back the fastening clips by wedging the plastic spudger between the clip and the throttle handle.

Insert iFixit opening picks between each fastening clip and the throttle handle to prevent re-fastening.

Pull the throttle lever off gently by pulling towards you.

Apply pressure to the throttle handle until you hear the fastening clips take hold the of the throttle lever.
