Einleitung

This spring piston mechanism acts as the primary form of energy storage for your blaster to fire darts. When the blaster is cocked, the air-tight piston mechanism is pulled back and the large spring is compressed, holding in potential energy. Once the blaster is triggered, the energy from the spring pushes the piston forward towards the front of the blaster. Because the piston is air-tight against the walls of the chamber, it pushes all of the air out towards the opening in the front. As this air exits the chamber, it then pushes the dart out of the barrel. If any issues exist with this device, it is usually with the chamber being air-tight. If any air is allowed to exit otherwise, it greatly reduces the effectiveness of the blaster.

Lay the Nerf Strongarm on its side, left side facing up.

Locate the 12 Philips head screws and remove them: Head Diameter= 4.3mm, Thread Pitch= 1mm, Screw Length= 8mm

Before removing the cover, make sure to first remove the cover for the cocking mechanism. The top half is freely removable.
The other half of the cocking mechanism is connected with a spring which may slide off the blaster. Be advised this is normal but worth watching to avoid damaging the spring.

At this time, remove the blaster cover to reveal its internals.
If the blaster is resting on its side, the barrel may shift slightly as it is leaning on itself (seen in the image). This is normal but should be handled with care to keep the blaster together.

Once the screws have been removed, lift the top half of the gun off.
Notice, the gray colored piece must be removed first in order for the larger half to be removed.
Take care and try not to lose any smaller pieces as you open it up.

First, remove the outer parts of the blaster, starting with the top part of the cocking mechanism. Then remove the full cover itself.

Remove the barrel and the front part of the blaster. The components should simply slide off.

Remove the trigger, the cocking holdback, and the air compressor chamber

This is the spring that controls the air compressor. If it is damaged you have found your problem. Replace this spring and the blaster should work.

When I removed the compressor unit I found the little orange plastic needle on the tip was sticking ever so slightly when I pushed on it. I used a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol to clean inside, reassembled, and now it works like a charm!

I did everything you said but my blaster still doesn`t work. But all things are still working so nothing is broken. Why does it not work although??

I dont know wats the problem sometimes it rotates sometimes not sometimes i fires sometimes it does not
