The door keeps opening causing the dryer to quit. How can I keep the door from opening. It is not overloaded, but the clothes on the inside keeps pushing the door slightly open causing the dryer to quit.

I also have this problem. pushing the top of my dryer door closes it again so I can start the load once more. it will continue to randomly pop open by itself. funny enough my washing machine was doing the exact same thing!!!!!!! It was dumping an entire load of waster on my floor, sometimes several times in a day with out me even doing a load of laundry. seems like the latches may be weak?

Wade Wesley, check your door latches and make sure they do have enough tension. You can get replacements from here. Hope this helps, good luck.

you should also check the exhust hose for clogs both where it connests to the dryer and at the exit of the house,,,any back pressure could be pushing on the door helping it pop open

I also have this problem. I bought new latches because it looked like the other latches' plastic was worn out.
I put it back together and it still won't latch well.
I'm really frustrated.
